Faith Decisions is a 4-week experience for 7-8th graders and parents. It’s a time for parents and students to explore what it means to follow Jesus and mature in one’s faith. It’s an opportunity for parents to reconnect with their young person. Faith Decisions takes place every other year so that every middle school student and parent has the opportunity for this experience one time.

9-10th grade girls and moms get away for a weekend to recharge and talk about what it means to grow in one’s faith and identity in Christ. This annual weekend is a perfect way for moms and daughters to deepen their relationship while discussing what it means to become more like Christ. Check back later in 2017 for more details and dates.

Every winter 6-12th grade students are invited to step away from their normal routine, slow down, and reconnect with each other, and recharge. Through small groups, worship, games and friends our desire is for students to renew relationships, reconnect with the one who made them, and recharge in order that they may live for Christ. .

Every spring 6-8th graders and 9-12th graders get away for a weekend of renewal. These are usually camping trips or other outdoor-based experiences in the spring. It’s a great opportunity to spend a weekend with friends and reflect on spiritual growth. This year, MS Getaway is May 26-28 and HS Getaway is April 28-30. Details will be available early 2017.

Missions are important to LRC Student Ministry. As you get away from your normal routine, get out of your comfort zone, and serve others sharing hope, the Gospel and loving others you are changed. There are missions opportunities for different age-groups this summer. Learn more here about summer 2017 LRC missions.
