Discussion Questions:
- The idea of fellowship with Christ means that Jesus participates with us and us with Him. Have you considered this before? How does this impact the way we live? How can this change our thinking of what it means to be obedient?
- Paul says, “God is faithful.” The theological word for this is immutability and expresses the idea that God is unchanging. Why is it good that God does not change? How is it bad if God can become better or worse?
- The believers at Corinth had a lot of issues. There were division problems, immorality problems, and unity problems. Their behavior did not match their status because they forgot who they belonged to. Spend time with your group discussing what happens when we forget who we belong to. How does this help us think more positively about one another when there’s conflict within the church?
